Obituary for BOBBY D. WYNN

Bobby D. Wynn age 84 of Culver passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 12, 2019 in the Lutheran Health Network St. Joseph Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, following his courageous battle with dementia.

Bobby was born on August 11, 1934 to Charles Cleo and Elda Jennie June (Smith) Wynn. Bobby was a graduate of Culver High School class of 1952. He retired after 35 years from Del-Monte Foods in Plymouth. On October 6, 1957 Bobby married the former Brenda C. Kline. They have enjoyed nearly 61 years of marriage. Bobby honorably served his country in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1961. Bobby loved fishing and “tinkering” especially with his cars.

Those left to cherish Bobby’s memory are his loving wife Brenda C. Wynn of Culver; his children Karen and Pat Daly of Monterey, Patsy and Dennis Davis of Plymouth and Keith Wynn of Plymouth; also surviving are his 6 grandchildren, Dustin and Eva Reinhold of Argos, Cole Reinhold of Monterey, Logan Reinhold of Monterey, Nicholas and Misty Davis of Louisville, Kentucky, Molli Davis of Spring, Texas and Coltin Wynn of Plymouth; 5 great-grandchildren, Adyson Reinhold of North Judson, Rylie Reinhold of Winamac, Ridge Reinhold of Argos, Carston Ousnamer of Argos, Ashon Ousnamer of Argos; his brother, Charles Wynn of Culver and numerous nieces and nephews; Bobby is preceded in passing by his parents, brothers Eugene Wynn and Cecil Wynn and his sister Treva Rans.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison Street Plymouth, Indiana 46563  with Pastor Stephen Schumerth officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post #27 VFW Post #1162 and the Disabled American Veterans #42. Burial will follow the service in the Popular Grove Cemetery in Argos.

A time of visiting with the Wynn family will also be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 in the Van Gilder Funeral Home from 11AM - 3PM.
